not GMC, internet resource sharing

Mark,
We recently installed a cable modem at home and I upgraded to Windows 98 SE
for the purpose of sharing 1 connection. I could never get the Internet
resource sharing feature to work. Finally, I gave up and ordered extra IP
addresses so that other family members could access the internet. We have a
home network of 5 PC's, so the Internet resource sharing would be great.
When I have time, I'll try it again.

It would be great to expand that to the GMC. I could do that when at home,
since I've wired the GMC with 10BaseT cable now to 3 outlets (cockpit,
dinnette and rear bedroom).

I'm just too lazy to futz with a network cable, so I've got a 'gateway' just
for my laptop.

I understand your application, and we're going to face this with our cable
modems, so this is a worthwhile project. I'll let you know what I find out.

Patrick,
I just got around to following up on that link you suggested.
So far I've just skimmed over the material, but it is definitely
better then what comes with WIN 98 SE. It may help to resolve
my problems. I'll let you know what happens.
