Wow! I'm very surprised at the number of pilots that own these GMC's. The
last tail dragger I flew was the old Gooney Bird. Talk about bad brakes -
three pumps and fade. Anyhow, there must be a thread that ties these
interests together. Must be those hours and hours of sheer boredom
interrupted by moments of stark terror.

Well, I might as well jump into the pot with the rest of you GMC aviators.
I've
been involved in aviation most of my life. Started with my Dad who was Army
Air
Corps from the time I was born until he died in 1960. I got my license in
1966.
I've owned a Tri-Pacer, built a Long-Eze and two Lancairs (L-IV & L-IV-P).
Right now, I don't own any, but have access to all because I'm doing
maitenance
and upgrades on them. I'm also helping with a Kitfox and an RV-6A (flying
now).
If anyone wants help or info, contact me off GMC Net.
Please be careful out there !
