This is interesting even though is somewhat out of date. Gordon
Sinclair passed away in 1982 FWIW. For an interesting biography see

I can't resist....Kara's friend's computer may need some upgrading....it
seems a little slow

Re: Gordon Sinclair
This was written 27 years ago in June of 1973. I believe I saw him
on Front Page Challenge one night making derogatory statements
about his Rolls Royce.

Kara: thanks for sharing this...even though it is somewhat dated as others have pointed out. It sure is nice to think that there might still be neighbors to the north (and south) today that still feel that way...

I am proud to say that my relatives in the Netherlands are still thankful for what the Americans and Canadians did for them...but then they are of the generation that still remembers the terror of WW II. My grandparents hid Canadians in their potato
cellar from the Nazi and an uncle worked with the underground to protect Amercians. They are grateful still for the Liberation, and the help Americans have offered the world over the years, even if younger folks may have forgotten!

Is anybody useing earthlink.net to access the net?
I received their package in the mail and they make it
sound really good. It's supposed to be direct access
and they claim that several magazines have voted
them the best. I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.

Kara,
Earthlink and Mindspring just hooked up with Mindspring head Charles Brewer
at top of pile. This good. Mindspring has been an EXCELLENT ISP. They
have one of the best, most responsive tech departments in the industry.
They SHOULD be number one in place of AOL. If the AOL users would compare,
Mindspring (soon to be Earthlink) would be number one. And if anyone who
gave a damn about Second Amendment rights knew that AOL recently closed
every member site dealing with Second Amendment rights or gun ownership,
they'd be on another ISP overnight. Couple that with AOL's embrace of
so-called "gay rights" and the wide-open encouragement of gay sites on AOL
and -- for me, at least -- it's a no-brainer.
I'd sign up with Earthlink in a heartbeat.
