>Great idea. I was born in a little German community here in Michigan called
>Sebewaing. It had a brewry called Sebewaing brewry (catchy name) They had
>an outside tap for all the German farmers that flowed all day long. Too bad
>it closed 30 years ago.
Bob - you are really bringing back a lot of memories. I grew up in a
little town in southwestern Michigan. When I was in high school,
about 16, I used to go over to a friend's house some evenings to play
ping pong, chess, and poker with some other guys. My friend's dad
had a beer refrigerator and we could help ourself. He kept two kinds
of Sebewaing. There were ducks on the labels. I believe the better
one had a gold label and I think the ones that we could have were
either a red or green label. We were not allowed to have the gold
label one. That was for his Dad only!
Not a bad beer if I recall.
