Non GMC......I'm Back :-)

GMCers.........

After 18,676 miles in my ' 77 Kingsley, I now report that I have
made it back to Nova Scotia. Total repairs consisted of a replaced
outer CV joint boot in Florida.
I was however, concerned about a noticeable and progressive
'clacking' in the engine, listed under wrist-pin wear I believe. We
turned around in Gallup, New Mexico for a number of reasons....the
mental security/comfort of heading home with engine noise, the
CDN vs US dollar, and the price of gas!!

We met a lot of tremendous folks and not to worry, each of you will
be acknowledged in future commentary........trust me, you shall not
escape

Travel being educational is an understatement......and with this in
mind, y'all venturing north this summer will be delighted to hear that
I'm fixin' to be serving Grits with Lobster.....

After two kicks at the can, CO after Forest City and NM after
Rayne, it was time to take the hint. For those of you beyond these
points, don't rest too easily. One of these days, in the not too
distant future, you'll wake up to see a Travelin' Bear in YOUR yard
