We have resurfaced in Antigonish. This is not necessarily bad,
because years ago we chose to live here.....ocean, trees, and year
round (almost) good weather !!

However, it was certainly not our intent to be back here right now.
We had planned to travel for the winter on an erratic path to
whatever destination we chose on any given morning :-) Like many
ventures, we were under financed to begin ( three kids at university
had nothing to do with it), and depended on the rental of our home
to cover costs such as taxes and insurance at our 'Homebase' .

Let me be brief, I'm an IDIOT !! I thought I had selected the
perfect tenants....Right ! We're back doing damage control.
We've been hit, but I don't think we're out of the game yet :-)

For those of you not swift enough to have hit DELETE, let me
continue............we sure have met a lot of really nice and very
interesting people, and of course I will have comments to make as I
go....be warned :-)

Reminds me of when I rented to college students who's idea of fun was to
pour a keg of beer on the floor until it ran through the carpet out the
door and down the steps to the apartment below...

Not for us of the genteel GMC retires set. Put your creative energies into
the GMC.

Mike, The best tip I ever got regarding prospective tenants was to NEVER
pay attention to references from their current landlord. They'll give a
great reference just to get rid of a lousy tenant.

I'm getting a quick lesson in property management. I think I should
have mentioned this to y'all BEFORE I rented :-)
This group is knowledgeable in more than just one area I see !
Dave, were you in Forest City ?

Tks

These guys used you for a reference :-)
I'll be at your doorstep before spring to discuss the matter.

Guess you haven't met me yet

advice !!
