Would that work for the PCV an fuel evaporative canister lines. Does't the
carb need these "vacuum leaks" to function properly? I'm over my head on this
one, just tossing ideas around.

Earlier today someone was requesting new Windshield information. Somehow
deleted that request .

I agree and would like to help out. A few weeks ago someone suggested taking
up a collection to help Dave replace his stolen equipment. Maybe I missed it,
but was waiting for someone to take up a collection and post where to send
the $. We all know Dave puts in a lot of hours to build and maintain this TZE
list. I am convinced that, if not already, it will be a benefit to us all. It
may be that someday we will have to petition the Government on an issue
affecting something particular to the GMC (less trivial but the 3 axle bridge
tolls is an example). Maybe we would need to petition a supplier to keep a
key component in circulation (something like Jasper Engines). Maybe there
should be a box to check on Dave's questionnaire if they would like to
receive GMC specific advertising (junk mail?, maybe not such a good idea)
Anyway, what Dave has is a mailing list where fliers could be sent to GMC
owners for important issues effecting us. Who he makes this list available to
is up to him but someday, you watch, it will save our butts.

The same goes for Patrick and all his efforts. If he ever has a need, I hope
he will speak up. I can't believe there isn't a subscription fee to this net
considering all the valuable information flying around.

All we need is a trust worthy individual (which everyone here probably
qualifies) to take up the collection and forward it to Dave. Maybe post what
was collected and from whom so all can see what is donated.

PS if a collection was taken and I missed it, where do I send the $?

I know not GMC but interesting anyway.

So, you think a gallon of gasoline is expensive, huh??
Diet Snapple 16 oz for $1.29 = $ 10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz for $1.19 = $ 9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz for $1.59 = $ 10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz for $1.25 = $ 10.00 per gallon
Pint of milk 16 oz for $1.59 = $ 12.72 per gallon
STP Brake Fluid 12 oz for $3.15 = $ 33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz for $8.35 = $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz for $3.85 = $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz for $1.39 = $ 25.42 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz for $0.99 = $ 84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER......
Evian water 9 oz for $1.49 = $ 21.19 per gallon
...$21.19 FOR WATER!!
So next time you're at the pump,
be glad your car doesn't run on
Nyquil, or Scope, or Whiteout!!!!
