Thanks - this is another modification I can't take credit for, but I'm sure
glad I have it. I just checked the old records, it doesn't appear on the
bill for the rebuilt tranny (Osburn), so I assume it was done by Ken Frey's
shop who did most of the work for the PO.
There is a small hole in the tube just below the dipstick seal, and it looks
like some fluid sprayed out of that hole and ended up on the master cylinder
and the a/c condensor after going over a pass (tranny temp just above 200*).
Does anybody else have this setup, any problems with this "breather hole"?
There was also some fluid around the breather on top of the chain housing.
