Mark, Well said, You have actually done a little more to your coach than I
have to mine. Being mechanically inept, I take my coach to Alex Sirum in
Okeechobee, Fl. every spring before we head off on our extended summer trip.
He and Jeff jack it up, remove the wheels and check all mechanicals, hoses
and belts included, repair or replace any thing that looks worn. I check my
maintenance log and any item that is 10 years old is replaced. Tires are
replaced every 5 years no matter how much tread is showing. I carry spares
of small parts that I can change myself, (i.e.) HEI module, coil, fuel
filter, fuel pump etc. no matter how conscientious you are with maintenance,
even new parts will go bad. Preventive maintenance is the key to trouble
free driving
