Now that you bought one. And lack an in depth knowledge of this long thin=
g in the drive. So you hit the internet to find out what you did to yoursel=
f. There are several places. But this site is the place for the most in dep=
th details of what, were , and how. And at times that too can be overwhel=
ming. In the years that I've been involved. I've never heard a dumb quest=
ion asked here. It's simple. There just aren't any that exist for these pe=
ople. These people here are extremely respectful to all. You'll just want a=
simple answer to a simple question. You'll end up with 5 views. And that=
's great. Because now you can pick that one that meets your skill level, a=
nd wallet. I've had the question asked. What should I do? This too is simpl=
e to answer. First. Make the brakes safe no matter the cost. Second. Check =
the drivetrain to make sure you'll get back home. ( Never travel with out a=
GMCMI membership roster, and parts book. ) Third. Do what meets YOUR comfo=
rt zone. Not someone else's. My comfort zone is way off the chart. It has t=
oo with Linda in a wheelchair. Failure has never been an option. The 78 Ro=
yale that we have now has had absolutely everything new, or rebuilt. I did=
put the transmission from the burned 78 GMC in that has about 22,000 miles=
on it. And now I'm getting anal about that. So now I have a trans coming f=
rom Manny. (YES. I have a mental problem to deal with. ) But there's more =
to that story. We have a 73 GMC that I'm working on to sell. I'll put the 2=
2'000 mile trans in the 73. Thus making that 73 more attractive to the pros=
pective buyer. So in short. Do what puts you in YOUR COMFORT ZONE, and WAL=
LET. And enjoy your family. In that GMC. On the roads of North America. =

Only thing to add would be 'The Black List.' Never leave home without it.
Towing insurance also.
