Watch out GMCers, there is about to be a new boy on the block! A new RV
will be on display at a RV show in Tampa this weekend which was apparently
modeled on the GMC. It is called NewAir (my spelling may be wrong), it is a
29 foot diesel pusher, and Jim Anstett who saw a picture of it, says that
it is better looking than the GMC! Apparently it was featured in a
magazine called RV Business. Ray Curtis is sending me a copy of the article
but I'm sure that someone here can get a picture on the net before the post
office manages to deliver the article.

It's a concept vehicle which will probably go into production in a few Years.
I will send the pictures to someone who has time to post them. Later this
evening. All those on the east coast will already be in bed.

Put in a new Mondello 455(the best he makes) all new michelins, Alcoas,
bilsteins, complete new interior new generator, mascerator, GPS etc and a
GMC still costs 1/3 of the newair.

Think I will keep my GMC. Park them alongside each other and see which one
gets the looks.

Sorry Bill I was supposed to pick up the magazine from the shop, but it is too darn
cold to be out and about.

BTW I looked into the MSV as a candidate for a motor home and liked what I saw.
Lots of interior room and the deck above the engine would make a great bed
platform. Coachman is supposedly making RV's out of them. I am not sure if they
followed through or not. One thing you can't see in the picture is the tag axle
with 13", no typo, wheels on it. They need them to increase the GVW to carry any
weight. Plus with the engine in the rear it adds a lot of stability to the
roadworthyness. Still checking into it. I will keep you folks informed if you are
interested. I would love to go into production to refit some of these babies.
