As as recent arrival in the GMC asylum I've Googled (well, actually
DuckDuckGo'd) everything GMC -

and found this GMC-produced advertising film from the 70's.

It's probably old news to most of you but the air suspension
demonstration and comparison to a contemporary truck-chassis motorhome
(disguised but clearly identifiable) at 3:30 was priceless LOL funny.

I'm also an ex-Tek so the oscilloscope at 4:15 was another bit of nostalgia.

I am not including a locally generated signature to see if the web
mirror appends it to my posting. Always experimenting.

gmcmi has that video and a couple of others too. But I agree - that ride comparison is superb. Killed myself laughing first time it came up. And
replayed it several times. Loved watching the "unknown" RV pretty much leave the ground during the railroad tie simulation.
Anyone ever asks why I would want to own one of these 40+ year old coaches instead of something newer, this is one clip I share. That and the
community that came with it as "standard equipment" ;) that has saved my bacon on a couple of occasions already.

I forgive them all, save those who hurt the dogs. They must answer to me in hell

And it was an amazing place to work, 'back in the day' before it
transitioned from a technology company that hired accountants to an
accounting company that hired engineers.

Read Bob Lutz’s book “Car Guys vs. Bean Counters” about what happens when accountants run the whole show (like at GM).
