Got the lights at Home Depot, they are the 20 watt with the gold
housings. Most lights like these are 12 vdc with a transformer to
provide power. They work great!

I guess the question is that if I do not delete the name of the sender
will they get 2 messages?
As for you answer on the material, I got it at home depot and you should
be able to find it in the bath supply area, it comes in 4x8 sheets and
is used for shower enclosures. It comes in several styles and I used
the traditional 4 x 4 pattern.

Just finished most of the interior restoration in early May. The socket
appears to be ceramic material to handle the heat of the bulbs. No
problems as of yet.

Just my opinion, but I'd keep a sharp eye on those pin sockets the bulbs go
in. Next time I'm over by HD I'll see if I can find some like your's
here. Mine were different so maybe I just had some cheap sockets. I need
to replace all of mine. I quit using them for fear of fire.

The only consideration, YOU MUST NOT put all the lights on one circuit
these lights are power hogs. but that is the price you pay for lots
of light.
Also in the galley area, I replaced the standard 12V lights in the stove
hood
with 12V 50watt reflector floods with ceramic sockets (these were
tracklight
units ) these put a great deal of light unto the stove top..
These are also avaialable from Home Depot.
