Get one problem solved and get another one. Last year had a sending unit in
sewer tank that did not work. Ordered new unit and installed, but some of
the five screws would not thread in the tank. Used larger screws and tried
to seal with everything available. Finally stopped leak with "Permatex" but
now, it too "has give it up". Has any of you had this problem? Thought
about getting a brass washer, drilled and tapped, to mate with sending unit,
to insert inside tank. Don't know if one of proper size can be found of if
it can be put inside tank. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Emery,
Thanks for your reply. Just removed and replaced the sending unit. The
screw holes in the tank are wallered out (enlarged) some broken out into
large unit hole. Must depend on other 3 to do holding. Spread a sealer over
opening and re-installed, now hope for best. Probably only sure way is to
install new tank or seal up opening and do without sending unit.
Thanks again.
