Greetings all! We picked up a 77 Palm Beach about a month ago. I have started what I call the 'Great Undoing'. Basically going through systems and get things back in order. Some good information on this forum thats helped me already. So far I have already:
-fixed a trans dipstick leak (a gusher really)
-A finicky AC compressor belt.
-Drivers side airbag would not deflate. Troubleshooting to the solenoid lead me to cleaning out the electro level switches. Was only getting 2v to the solenoid.
-Spliced in a new power cable in the front that was a fire hazard. After I really saw it when I cut out the bad section, I felt like I should buy lotto tickets.
-Popped the air compressor fuse today after it ran for a while raising the rear back up. Its got the original in there so will be upgrading to a Viair soon.
Got a muffler coming for the onan and other misc things. Hope to contribute to the forum as we get into the systems more.
