Hi new to the list and new owner. We are just learning the JOY of spending
money on GMC MH . Went to AZ. last Oct. to pickup and bring home (Idaho)
lost 2 belts in Orem Ut. on freeway. Fast friendly and affordable service at
Big O Tires. Replaced all 3 belts. Third trip to Spokan Wash. had a blowout
(some fiberglass damage) bought 6 new tires. Anyway decided we needed new
shocks so to those who buy KYB from Performance Suspension Technology you
will find that the price has gone up 6 are now $199.00 shipped. and if you
can't find them on the net the URL is www.p-s-t.com
I kept trying pst without the hyphen and it wouldn't work.
Now for a question because we live in Idaho there are not any regular GMC
places here. We want to get an alignment does anyone have a suggestion of
where we could look to get one. Also what are the numbers (Caster and
Camber) to use for alignment front and back in case where we go they don't
know them or can't find them. Or what questions to ask to see if qualified
to do the job? Thanks,

just purchased a 78 royal and need some advice.
Have a few gauges that aren't working, and was wondering where I need to look for the trouble spots

The following:
Lp gas gauge
aux fuel gauge
dash temp gauge

I'm not a expert mechanic but could this maybe be the sending units or ground wires. If so where are they located.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Do you have the manuals for your coach?

Before you go to the expense and trouble of an alignment job, be sure your
pneumatic leveling system is operating and adjusted to give you the proper
height. If that is off, so will your alignment be off.

Welcome to the club.

In regards to your alignment question. At the GMC MH International Convention,
Oct 98, at Marion, NC, there was a discussion group hosted by Chuck Stoddard,
that spent a lot of time on 6-wheel alignment. I remember that the idea of just
the alignment without doing everything just right resulted in a big waste of
money. I looked for Chuck's telephone number in the GMCMHI membership roster,
but couldn't find it in the copy I have. Perhaps someone on the net can tell us
how to reach Chuck or has their notes or hand-out from that session.

Duane Simmons, can you help us?
