Hi GMC'er:

Weather in the East hasn't been terrible yet but still not great for getting
under the "new" '74 Glacier. That will have to wait for a few weeks more but
I do have a couple of questions.

Towing: Does anyone have info on how to install a receiver or tow setup on
the motorhome? I'd like to tow my car with it and would like to know if
anyone makes a setup that can bolt on or do I have to fabricate my own
system? How about sources for devices to activate the brakes on the towed
vehicle?

Windshield Wipers: My shop manual has not yet arrived but, at first glance,
it seems as if my coach has vacuum windshieldwipers. If that is true, I'm
wondering if is it possible to convert that system to electric so that an
intermittent wipers system could be installed? If so, what parts are needed?
Anyone have any experience with that process?

Front seats: I am not been comfortable in either the driver's or passenger's
seat. Considering putting in a set of car seats on a swivel pedestal
instead of regular van seats. Probably also going to work on hooking up a
three-point harness at the same time based on an article in the Dec. 1997
"Motorhome Marketplace." Any tips on car seats that anyone found to work
well? If car seats don't work out, I'll be forced to go the van seat route.
Suggestions for van seats????

Many thanks for the anticipated help.

Check with Ray Curtis at Eaton RV(800-764-3673)

Nope. They're hydraulic and run off the power steering system.

Don't know of any conversion. The hydraulic ones will run pretty slow,
like a bus.
