With injectors on top of the manifold, it would be Port Injection.

Here is a photo of a 455 intake manifold with port injection and fuel rails. There was a fellow selling a kit, his name escapes me, but he passed away a number of years ago.

There are several sources for throttle body EFI. It is easier to install and therefore more popular.

Recent conversation with a long time GMCer, he said he had the iron version of the port injection Olds manifold that had been installed in Cadillacs. They made an aluminum version but those had corrosion problems. Maybe this is one of those systems.

This has round tube rails factory looking I need to.talk to seller for more info I think itis a replacement motor

The chances of anything being original on these coach’s are very slim. Question everything.

More common then not, when someone says it is original, it is not.

The coach’s that people dont take the time to say things are original are kore common to be original.

Like that fuel injection system. That is for sure a massive amount of work someone did to that motor at some point in past 50 years.

Haven't purchased coach yet don't know if I can afford to do lnt and repair mechanical things it would need

I was at a rally that Leigh Harrison attended 10 to 15 years ago in Kentucky or Tennessee I believe. He had a fuel injected coach he was driving and could not get it to run right. He spent 3 days fighting that thing with it backfiring and really running bad. Blaine Merrell walked by and said to me "he has a bad coil". I drove to AZ and bought one, then handed it to him and said "Install this". He did and it ran just fine after that. As Dick Paterson use to say "Most carb problems turn out to be Ignition". Or was it the reverse of that?

Best place to break down at a coach rally

NAPA use to have rebuilt Toronado shafts that we would order and reuse our longer GMC axles in them. Problem was there were some aftermarket ones that used different axles. So we had to order more rebuild shafts than necessary and go though them looking for the correct ones. One time we ordered 5 from NAPA, found 2 usable ones, and returned the rest.

Same situation with new 4" impeller GMC water pumps. NAPA combined the 4" ones and several smaller impeller sizes under th same part number. Check what you got before you the store you might have to order 3 or 4 of them to get the correct pne. .
