You might think about using rubber roofing for the seams. you can get it in
rolls about 4" wide and it is self sticking. Very durable and tough.
Camping world has it for sale in black and white

I have the 'seam' problem in spades!! The Transmode I am converting back to
motorhome use was originally an EPA mobile air quality test lab, and they
had approx 12 fans and probes that used to stick out of the roof. I have
been using sheet aluminum and riviting patches over each of the holes they
cut. My question is about the liquid rubber roof material that camping
world sells??? Would this a good idea to put this coating over the entire
roof, from front to back seam-to-seam?? Any experiance out there??

p.s. I wonder how the EPA ever got good readings with the vent from the
black water tank still installed and only 3-5 feet away???? Maybe this
explains where some of the new air quality regs come from.......
