How do I get privileges to reply to posts?Hi all! I have been reading all the threads here and I'm seriously wondering what I have gotten myself in too!

Thanks! I have already joined GMCMI. My machine came with a tote full of manuals and newsletters! I'll be spending the winter reading all of them! I have the original shop manual for it and a complete parts manualEserv,
Welcome to the community.
First off, realize that most of what gets written about here is the problems some are facing. There are a couple of hundred owners between the two forums. Together, we probably accumulate a few hundred thousand miles a year. (Many of us do 3~5K in a year X ~1500 active coaches.)
So, First Join GMCMI and get the information you need.
Next, connect with a local chapter of owners that can guide you.
Third, go to the Circle E in the top right and fill in a sigfile with a name, a short about the coach including major mods and finally a geographic reference. That last is because it is very possible that one of your several hundred brand new old friends is in striking distance and can be a help.
This is a community of supportive and helping people the like of which you may never have experienced.

I'm sure it can! I have a restored 1961 Chev pickup that I believe is as reliable or maybe better than it was when new.My wife and I just completed a 5800 mile trip in our '75 Ex Palm Beach. It CAN be done.
