Greg, as you can see by the date of this message, I am way
behind on reading GMCnet e-mail.

I just completed a project of repairing a portion of my
frame because of a leak between the toilet and the holding
tank. In the process, I had to remove the holding tank to
gain access to the frame. Once removed, I found two
additional cracks in the tank adjacent to the mounting
"flange." I had it repaired at a local "plastic/fiberglass"
fabrication business for $40. The vent on mine was 1.5"
PVC, and fits into a similar sized opening in the holding
tank. I was fortunate that the vent entered the tank
through the floor under the rear couch. Quite possibly, the
vents in all GMCs enter the holding tank in an area where
you can access them.

The job of removing the holding tank was time consuming, but
not very difficult. It is very light, but you will need
some help because of the overall size of the tank and
drainage system.

I hope this helps.
