In case someone is wondering re diff in range between 900mhz and the new
2.4ghz cordless phones.
It's substantial... plus clearer.
I use a cordless in conjunction with cell phone when near the rig so that I
get the 3watt advantage and longer battery life. Perhaps in future that
won't be so drastic anymore as the new digital phones (cell/pcs) seem to
have much better staying power.
Thought I'd pass it on as I was reluctant to buy one as nobody had a real
answer re how much more to expect realistically (aside from salemen that is
