Blanca does and exceptional job as a videographer. :-)

Thanks so much for sharing, Hal. This is most excellent!

Thank you Billy, you brought a big smile to Blanca's face. She really tries hard to get it right.

Hey!! Spoiler Alert! Billy, the big reveal of the videographer was going to be the, ahem, focus of the Season 2 premiere episode!

Hal, these leaks are going to hurt our hopes for a syndication deal. Just saying.

Richard

PS Blanca does an excellent job. She anticipates what will be the clearest view highlighting what you're explaining. My compliments!

Funny you should mention those mini split Kerry. A friend, retired A/C guy and I have been brain storming on installing one in this new rig. Putting
the condensor up front with the radiator probably won't work but there are other possile locations.
My DMax is set at 800 ft lb's so I'd guess it SHOULD work. Only a 6 speed though  .
And just what kind of parts coach do you have?
Have fun, Hal

These guys make a rooftop heat pump. The smallest is 6-8KW or about 21K BTUs using 47 amps @ 12V. It would be great is they made one using mini-split
technology.

Here's another clip of the project.
Just to clarify a bit, the caliper I plan on using is an electric Tesla piece.
Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching, Hal

It's a 2007 Duramax and 6 speed Allison, set at 400 hp and 800 lbft of tq. Its a LBZ, probably the best of the D Maxes for swaps. It came out of a
C5500 truck.

Hal, Bianca is an accomplished videographer. Ask her if she might have some interest in videoing dog shows. They're fun, most have RV slots, and
there's a dime or two to be made. I guarantee you, any GMC will draw a crowd at one.

Hi Hal -

I’ve previously said that your Eagle Bus is the most beautiful and functional custom fabrication work that I’ve ever witnessed - and I’ve
witnessed plenty.

But now - you’ve introduced some fear, uncertainty, and doubt into that statement.

Amazing work - on all levels. Truly amazing.

Thanks for sharing, Hal. Curious about the changes you've made to the front end suspension geometry vs the stock or 1-Ton kit.

I used a 1997 one ton frame and built a jig with the locating points for the control arms, shock mounts and snubbers. The idea is to keep the geometry
exactly as the one ton truck was and use the stock components. The GM trucks came with either a stamped steel or forged lower control arm. The forged
ones I'm using are real monsters with T Bar sockets that should never fail. I will probably need to ream the knuckle to accept the tie rod ends as
they need to connect higher than previously but other than that everything is OEM, unmodified. The T bars are 1.75" vs the 1.5" GMC and slightly
shorter (about 4.25"). GM offered a lot of options in spring rates, maybe 17? so finding one that works shouldn't be too difficult. The bars I will
start with were used on a single cab truck.
One thing that threw me off was the stock angle of the lower control arms on the GMC. I tried to mimic it with the other mounting locations but had a
little bit of 'stinkin thinkin' on that one and it cost me a weeks work in the redo. The caster was way off with that setup. The truck mounts the
lower control arms parallel with the ground as I have now done.
Like I said before, there are a lot of balls in the air on this build.
