I like the idea. I will be in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, March 20. Put me
down for a Net Badge and I will pick it up at Myrtle Beach.
FWIW I have a friend that owns a transmission shop in Conway, SC. That is
just a few miles from Myrtle Beach. He has a TH425 transmission at his
shop. He will have it ready to go by March 21. If someone needs a
transmission he will sell it on an exchange basis. He does installations
and repairs. He has a lift that will handle the GMCs at his shop. Contact
me at the rally if anyone needs his help. I do not have any idea what he
charges, but I think he would be fair.
I have decided to use AT&T WorldNet for my ISP and email provider. They
seem to have a local number for most of the places that I will travel to.
They also have an 800 number if you need it. They are less expensive than
AOL provided you can live with 150 hours per month. They also have an
unlimited account for the same price as AOL. They bill you on your phone
bill. You don't have to put up with all of those advertisements that AOL
and others blast you with. So far I am happy with their service.

Subject: GMC: Net Badges
>A few weeks ago there was a thread in which some form of GMC Net badge was

>I have access to a laminated plastic engraver and I wouldn't mind making
the

I
>like the small badge approximately 5/8" x 2" is that most members already
have
>a club badge or tag (there's that word again) with their names and home
towns.
>The small badge can be put with a club badge, stuck on a hat, or worn as a
>lapel pin.
>The only cost will be for the safety pin connector and mail if anyone wants
>theirs sent to them. The cost of the connector pins are twenty-five cents.
>I will be in Myrtle Beach the Friday before the rally if anybody wanted to
>pick theirs up then or they could be gotten at Patrick's seminar.
>I am open to any suggestions.
