I have a pin hole leak in one of the A/C hoses on my '73 GMC

Is there a cross reference for this hose set that is used in any other
GM car/truck/van

Does anyone have a NAPA # or ???

All my parts references manuals are in the coach --and the coach is
locked in a storage yard for the nite --

My A/C is about to be serviced tomorrow (they are going to replace the
bad discharge hose section -- but just one side is going to be
repaired -- the A/C hoses (suction and discharge) are a combined set.

I would prefer to replace the SET --because the hoses are old.

Thanks

I don't have a part number, but I will offer this suggestion: Get the new
style "barrier" hose. It will allow you to change to the newer type
refrigerant in the future if you want/need to do so.

I think most shops that can make an A/C hose can easily create a new hose
from stock parts. There isn't anything to strange about these systems.

I bought all my hoses for my A/C rebuild from Golby GMC. Their parts
line is 1-800-872-1462. Next day shipping.

I remember from one of the courses at one of the rally's... Keep the ends
of the hoses. Go to a fabrication shop, ie hydralics, etc. They can
take your ends and make new hoses. This will work I have been told.
Once you scrap the hoses you are scrap.

While searching for someone that could flare 1/2 inch SS tubing for my oil
lines, I came across a local shop that specializes in auto A/C tubing and
hoses(in fact, that was the shop name, "Auto A/C Tubing and Hose"). Check
the yellow pages for something similar. Also, Cinnabar listed barrier hoses
in GMCMN a couple years ago, so you might check with them.

Check a nation-wide company called Granberry, that is where I had mine
done when I upgraded to 134
