Need some Help

I am traveling the Lincoln Highway commemorating the 1919 Military
Convoy.Currently in Iowa heading West.
I have lost all power to the dash
I can start the unit using the batt boost.
Take the boost off and she runs fine.All dash controls and gauges as
well as lights work fine till I shut down.Then nothing No dash, no
lights, nothing that operates from the dash.
I am assuming i blew something in the isolation network???
Any help much appreciated.

Your are running off of the alternator and that is OK and normal, You are NOT starting off of the engine battery. You can start in Boost off or the
house Battery(s). So I believe your problem is with the engine battery cables or the engine battery is open (Shot). I would clean and check both
engine battery cables first. I doubt it is the battery, but it could be.

The alternator, isolator, and fusible link are all OK or it would not run down the road.

Sounds like a bad engine battery or maybe an open isolater diode.....as Ken mentioned, check all your battery connections then, if possible, have the
battery tested.

Because both of my batteries are side by side in the engine compartment i was able to cheat and just swap the connectors to verify my issue with
batteries.

Visual inspection is one thing we all eed to do to avoid lot of issues we
face.
I am surprised at all the units that come into our shop for repair for
something that is unrelated, and we see so much neglected items.
I should not ridicule people,as I am guilty by saying "its ok for now" and
it fails later and I'm all upset.

Check battery cables means remove and clean the battery cable ends. I mean really clean, not just look at them. I am going to disagree with the
isolator because the alternator is supplying power to the engine side when running and that circuit is through the isolator.

Thanks guys.I checked the engine battery and found it to be bad.only
had 9 volts.
replaced and all seems to be fine.

Ant, put your meter on the chassis battery side of the isolator and ensure that the voltage rises when you crank the engine and it's running, to
preclude an open isolator diode - not at all common but possible.
(At this point, I haul out the ammeter dead horse and beat it again)
