I am in touch with a broken down GMC South of Gainsville FL at exit 72
on I-75 ( my Dad ) . His air bag controls are not functioning . When
stopped one was flat. Now both are . He's trying to get to Dothan AL.
( 250 mi ) . I 'm trying to find some one in Gainsville who will take
him some plumbing fittings so he can manually inflate both bags to ride
height with an air hose . Could some one either look up the thread size
going into the airbag or run out and look at your coach and see (so I
can have the correct size fittings delivered ). Please E-mail me back
directly since I get the "digest version of this net and might not get
net messages for several hours. Thanks in advance. Also , does anyone
know any GMC owners in Gainsville that might lend them a hand. Dad is a
fair mechanic but he's 80 and help would be nice.

Thanks every one for the help. We have schraeder valves installed at Pep
Boys in Gainesville. He drove it some 15 miles there . Hope air bags not
damaged. Will know in a few minutes. Thanks Wayne and Lanier and Ray. I'm
headed home from work so signing off. Will give a full report later on net
.
