THis was a FB ad. I reached out to the seller and we got to talking and he needs some help. His dad passed a few years ago. He apparently did a lot
of work but left a lot unfinished so tis might be a real gem or it might be a train wreck but without someone looking at what was done we can't tell
from the photos.

He started at $5K and dropped it to $3500 in a week. That just makes people think he's desperate and the coach is junk

I told him to put the price back and i would try to get him some help.

I think his desperation is more about stress and grief than it is economic but he is paying for storage.

PM me if you can help and i'll forward contact info

Or, if you're on FB here's the link:

Rough shape. Broken windshield. Up on a trailer, why?

Yeah - I have to assume that GMC prices are VERY high in Florida!

I didn't see much that didn't appear to require a LOT of attention...

Yeah, that's the reason we need to put eyes on it.

When the man died the front bearings were out. The son did his best to get wheels under it so it could be moved but he knows he did not get it
right.

The coach was on his grandmothers property and the city was putting a lot of pressure on her. And that's another piece of the story- the mans mother
outlived him, so his death was probably very unexpected.

But it has Alcoas, suggesting he had some sort of rehab strategy. There is no telling what the PO's plan was and what upgrades he did first.

Alcoas on the rear only with rusted nuts.

busted windshield, bent bumper, no pic of the other end of the bumper, body damage behind the door, apart to a degree inside, bad front bearings,
possibly knuckles. It's a $500 parts coach as it sits. Maybe a grand because of the four Alcoas. If he keeps paying storage and lets it continue to
erode, he will have lost the grand shortly and will only break even at that.

From what I see there, a close look detects all 6 Alcoa's. The one picture seen from the left rear shows an Alcoa on the left front, and the other
behind the coach, below the back bumper, with the rotor and knuckle attached to the upside down Alcoa rim. Just the way it looks to me. Probably.
needs new tires and other things already mentioned. If that right front wheel could be put back together, bags aired up, and engine started, it
*might* be worth rehabbing if sold at a minimal price to someone who knows up front the potential issues. Or, Maybe Jeff Sirum would take it for
parts? I think Alex F is now in that area. Maybe he'd do a critical look at it? I'd look at it myself if it wasn't for Covid. Normally we would be
visiting with my Brother who winters in that area. This year we won't be traveling until we get our vaccines.

I'm gonna walk the young man through some details- we need more pictures and a clearer story.

Just hate to see a viable coack cut up.

Typical "needs work" abandoned coach. Right front wheel is painted white, not Alcoa pattern rim. Spare is 16.5 oem steel. Maybe Jeff would take it for
a disposal fee, i.e., paid to remove it.

I'm bringing this up again. He just lowered the price to $2K

I wish someone could put eyes on it.

I hate seeing these sub-$5K coaches get scrapped for parts and i have a feeling this might be better than average

We just bought a house at auction. At first glance it seemed like a mess. But when we dug a little deeper we saw all the work the previous owner had
done, all the material he had stashed away. Turned out to be a real diamond.

Little things i've picked up talking to the seller make me think this might be one of those.

I contacted him about the trailer and the GMC.
He is also willing to sell the trailer that the GMC is on.

Trailer is a 3 car hauler has a 2-5/16 10000lb ball hitch tires look good 3000lb each.
Trailer is a little narrow for the GMC so he has it blocked on with wood.
Trailer doesn't have the capacity I need for my 7 ton Genie lift so I'm Passing.
He's looking for $6500 for all. Seemed like he needs to sell so will probably take less.
