I had shared a video on Facebook a few days ago, but those are hard to share outside of FB.

And there was some interest in it here on another thread on this forum.

I think it's worth its own thread.

In order to get that OE formed vacuum or rubber hose shape, you can use electrical heat shrink wrap over the top of your rubber tubing to get it to take and hold a bend. So you can make the tubing in your engine bay look a lot neater. For that matter, you could use this trick to put nice bends in your spark plug wires as well, as long as you slip the shrink wrap on before crimping the end on the plug wire.

Hopefully this is helpful to someone straightening up their engine bay.
 
Another way is to insert a tube bending spring into the hose then bend and heat it. You could also insert a piece of bare copper wire then bend and heat it. These look better as they have nothing over the hose at each bend as the shrink tube method does.
