Scott,
Started the motor Fri. and it runs great. This is the engine I got to
replace the one that was stolen, a real bummer deal!
We built it basically stock except for a double roller chain, forged 30
over 8 to 1 pistons, electric choke & a 3 angle valve job.
Gonna start on the suspension & interior next. Getting busy again!

Sorry bout that, so happened that I was thinking about the motor we just
got going.
As if I didn't have enough walls to climb, the night I left for FC, I got a
cell call that there was a breakin at the paint shop & an engine that we
had ready to stick in was stolen! My paint manager said he left the alarm
off because he was asleep in the building- very convienant excuse! They
made off with 2 cars, the 455 and a 302 we had built along with a box of
tools while my crack manager was asleep at the wheel. When I got back from
FC I cleaned house and had to find a new paint crew, what a crock!
I got another engine (from a motorhome) through a saving angel GMC owner
(Kelly A.) and did the machine work and assy. all over, needless to say
doing the work twice made the job rather expensive but it had to be!
Anyway, we got through it and I now have better painters, I guess the
hassle was worth it. The trials and tribulations of business in America
today!
