sigh...... This is going to require a return trip to the NAPA dealer. What I
got was 'just' the sender - no plastic housing, no wire, no box - just a
sender with a wired on tag identifying it.
now I've got to go locate the receipt to wave at the dealer. and I had to
order the part too!

Should have come in a box with the plastic end cover piece. You reuse
the original wiring and metal end connector, you shouldn't cut it off.
If I had a digital camera I would take a picture and post it
