NAPA fan clutch bites the dust

During my attempt to diagnose the problem that turned out to be alternator
related I changed the fan clutch. All I could get at the time was NAPA and
instead of changing it to a GM as soon as I had one I left it in. That
turned out to be a mistake as today it gave up the ghost and my 2 electrics
weren't enough to keep things cool.

Got a little toasty (230), but as I was close to destination it was too
tempting to "nurse". No boil-over or anything... just ticked off at myself
as I know better than using non GM fanclutch for anything but emergency.

Oh well... at least I'll have something to do tomorrow that isn't computer
related :-)
