Well, made it OK to Myrtle Beach. First long trip in my GMC. Ran great, water
temp gauge stayed at hakway mark or below (new NAPA temp sender, half-way is
normal) - would go up to just below 3/4 when pushing 75mph.
Had generator and dash a/c on. Figured 9.7 mpg! Wow! Will recheck on way
home, seems too good.

Dash a/c compressor seems to be slinging some oil. IS there a drop-in
replacement compressor?

Also, Onan seems to have stopped leaking oil after I tightened all the head
bolts slightly.

Yes, you can buy a rebuilt from AutoZone for about $99.exchange but
this will have the wrong pulley. You can pull your original clutch
and pully and exchange them. Or you can buy the exact replacement
with the right clutch and pulley for about $220. I can lookup the
parts numbers if you need them.

We just got home from Myrtle Beach (yesterday) this was our first long trip
in our GMC. We stayed at Lake shore camp. Saw only one other GMC. It was
in a garage at a home on the campground. Main problem was a bumping tire,
also speedometer and cruse control guit. Trip over 1000 miles. We went by
the Builtmore mansion. Where are you from? We live in Lebanon, TN
