I'm still trying to decide if I can make the time to go to Myrtle Beach. It
would have to be without "The General", since our weather here will likely
not be good enough to break him out of storage. I thought someone posted
info on places to stay if you were (motor)homeless, but I can't find it now.
Hearing in postings that the good tech stuff and the GMCNet meeting is on
Monday...

I can do some research, but is anyone familiar enough with the area to
recommend nearby lodging?

Unknown National rental (well it would be on this trip anyway)

800-559-4654 ext 7133 (days)

I am also interested in the Myrtle Beach info with no GMC, just in case.
Want to come, but don't know if I can come in style yet or not.

Mark,

Here's what I posted on Monday:

Most of the hotels in Myrtle Beach will be about a 15 minute drive from
Lakewood. North Myrtle Beach will be twice that.
