Thanks to whichever of you told his tale of making his bath and dresser
modules plumb.

The bath module on our Painted Desert was plumb but the dresser was out
2-1/2". Julie was very concerned when she entered the coach and heard
splitting and popping sounds. She even went outside to see if the
dresser was sticking out the side of the coach. I suppose that the 35
ton boat leveling jack looked like a bit of overkill. It was the only
jack that would fit. After all was said and done, both doors open and
close perfectly. All is plumb. I would have chickened out if it were
not for the netter who described his/her ordeal, including the sound
effects.

Are there any suggestions on how best to attach the unit to the floor
and ceiling?

I am reminded of a story from my Yacht Building days. Our company had a
$1.2 billion contract to build the 272' Coast Guard cutters (basically
a cut down Navy frigate) you see doing drug intervention and patroling
the high seas. It was one of the first experiences some of our
engineers had with using AUTOCAD. They were used to line drawings and
adjusted slowly to "new" technology. The hull was being built in
sections. One of the fabricators who was using the AUTOCAD drawings
came in scratching his head. It seams that the drawing showed the
captains quarters sticking 12' out from the hull, 6' below the water
line. Oops. Back to the drawing board.
