mufflerless exhaust system

mufflerless exhaust system? I got the intake/exhaust
manifolds off and heads....Only to find out I DONT
even need my mufflers?. Could have saved a few
bucks. My parts are at NAPA getting cleaned,Sanded,
Milled, inspected as needed. They should be done this
Friday! I'll post a total cost and list of what was
done.

I can't remember (CRS you know) if I looked under Clarence's coach at Marion
or if he was explaining about it to a couple of us there, but as I recall,
he routes his exhaust into either one or two approximately 6" diameter pipes
prior to exiting to the tail pipe.

Guess its worth another look once I see him again.
