I do this again, and please no smart remarks about coating the windshield
so we don't need wipers. Coatings only works, and works well, for water. We
use the wipers to wash the smashed bugs off more than the rain in this dry
corner of the US.

Does anyone know of a kit to move the passenger side windshield wiper so it
works and covers the same kind of area as the drivers windshield. We are in
the process of painting our GMC and want to do this before we repaint. A
kit would make it easier, but if not, we will press on - on our own.
October GMC motorhome Marketplace Coach and Owner article of Ron and Suzie
Tase has pictures showing the moved windshield wiper. He just mentions that
he moved it. No response from GMCMM yet.

Chuck:
When you get the "how to" on the passenger windshield wipers I hope you
will post it here. We have a bit more occasion to use wipers here than
you do and my wife would be most pleased with this improvement.

Chuck,
I am of no help to You here, but would like to share an associated idea.
What I would really like to see is "dissappearing wipers" located to
wipe as You describe. I envision a couple of doors above the front
engine access hinged opposite to existing covers which swing open,
wiper mechanisms extend up and out for clearance to swing, then retract
and close on deactivation. Has this ever been done?
Is there any way we can contact Ron and Suzie? If they accomplished
this modification themselves, knowledge of their experience would likely
be of value.

Chuck,

One of our club members did just that. Ron Tase reversed the passenger side
wiper to work just like the drivers side. Rons email is

TaseGMC31

I am not sure exactly how he did it but I am sure he would be glad to share
his ideas.

Chuck, drop Ron Tase a note at tase31gmc

Seems to me he used something available in the market.
