Went and looked again today. Wipers work, leveler works, A/C
doesn't work (fan doesn't blow, either). Rear battery is dead, so
generator won't turn over.

Questions:

1) Is it normal for the rear wheels to have a slightly wider track
at the bottom than at the top (ie, noticible camber)?

2) Where is the potable water filler? Does it have a cap like a gas
cap?

3) How do you turn on the heater?

4) Does the one gas filler behind and below the driver's seat fill
both tanks?

5) The brackets for the upper bunk have pulled out of the wall. Can
this be repaired easily?

6) Does the engine generator charge the house battery? Where is the
house battery?

Thanks, again.

Yes depending on how the coach was parked, (straight in drive or from
a turn.) there is slight flexing in the swingarms.

On our 73, its at the rear of the passenger side rear LP compartment.
looks just like a gas cap. Recommend you label it as POTABLE WATER.
Gas in the plastic fresh water tank could cause a few problems :)

are you refering to the furnace ? if so, there were several production
models. The Suburban furnace on ours has an inline valve at the unit
, with the LP tank turned on, open the online valve, press the pilot
bypass while you work the built-in spark unit, until you light the pilot
light, continue to hold the bypass button in for a short while, then
release, if the pilot light stays lit, then you can go to the wall
thermostat and set the desired temp. The Suburban model has a blower
fan that runs all the time the burner valves are open and the unit
is hot, so its normal for the blower to run longer than you think
it should. (not like a home furnace that lights, then the blower
comes on)

havent seen this problem before.

its supposed to, charging thru a diode box to prevent discharge
of the engine battery, the box is normaly mounted on the firewall
above the batteries.
Both the house battery and the engine battery are supposed to be
together on a battery tray mounted above the airtank on the passenger
side, HOWEVER some owners have moved the airtank to prevent acid damage
to the tank from leaking or boiling batteries.
