Well folks I have to change the pressure switch on my air tank - it shuts
off from 80 PSI to 120 PSI in a fairly random fashion. What source do you
have for pressure switches?

Also, I'm planning to switch over to the Thomas 317 compressor. Does
anybody have a template for the adapter plate needed for a 76 Palm Beach?

Henry - you can still find the identical switch as the original one.
Many hardware / home centers or places that sell water well pumps
sell them. It is commonly used on the air tanks used with shallow
water wells. I replaced mine several years back and found one at a
farm implement store while on a trip through the farm country.

Henry,

I took a little different path here. I used a switch from Sun
Performance(Part No. PS001). You can see it at:

http://www.sunperformance.com/accessories/accessories.html

It's non-adjustable, but its a compact, sealed unit. Turns on at 85 and off
at 115. I got mine from Rosser Jeep(www.thinkjeep.com), but they're
probably available from other sources. Retails for around $19 - I think I
paid about $17 from Rosser.

Terry,
I did get the problem resolved but there's always room for improvement, I
think. I dropped the tread (replied to Emery offnet). Kinda sounded like no
one wanted to hear about it any longer.
Be happy to chat with you and show you the "Sweat Lodge". Took it to a
local fireworks convention this weekend in North Bend and racked you about
150 miles w/o any problems at all (except gas prices). I can point out what
I have learned and get you headed in the right direction anyways. I'll give
you Chuck Kokesh's number. Heck of a nice guy and president of one of the
local clubs. He is a wealth of information and loves to share it. Also I saw
those two coaches when I was at L.V. last month.
Drop me a line and we'll go from there...
