big moving sale here in Los angeles as i scramble to prepare for a
summer of full-timing and looking for new work... A few things that i have
to offer for sale or trade (don't want to store), in order to help pay for
many recent repairs and necessary upgrades. wish i could afford to
give this stuff away, but i'm a very very fixed income (ie-debt) and every
bit helps (don't want to have to sell the motorhome):
5 radial-friendly steel wheels from a '78, all mounted with Michelin XPS
radials, but
only 2 treads are still usable... $75/bo for all if you come pick them up
in
LA.
rear seats / folding rear bed assembly from my 78 eleganza II, upholstered
in the original tan, surprisingly good condition, $50 if you come pick up in
western MA.
dinette table and one half of the seats/folding bed assembly from my 78
eleganza II, upholstered in the original tan, $50 if you come pick up in
western MA.
vintage (?) spare tire cover proclaiming "I've been bitten by the GMC
motorhome bug" in good but somewhat faded condition. (maybe i should go
e-bay with this rare relic? ha!) start the bidding at $40 + shipping?
brand new vacuum cleaner bag for the optional central vac that came with the
eleganza II (and probably other models), $25 + shipping
12 spare lug nuts and (1) hubcap (this type covers all the lugnuts, uses 2
screws) from the old
style Alcoa aluminum wheels (I bought 2 Alcoas to start, and when i went to
finish off the other 4, i couldn't get the old style anymore...) good
condition, $20 + shipping.
original ferro-resonant charger (replaced mine with statpower), you'd need
to install a new powerplug or hard-wire it. unit was working fine when i
replaced it. heavy, but shippable, $25 + shipping
original TV roof antenna, prefer to not have to remove the mounting plate,
best offer, if you come pick up in LA.
Things i need, longshots that you've got these just sitting around:
spare airbag, used is OK if you're sure its airtight....
roof storage pod, if you're close enough to LA
awning, "" ""
floor jack, "" ""
big side window mini-blinds and valences. only NEED the one big side
window, but might be able to use more...
