I've put in mechanical fuels pumps for years. The Mouse House GMC sat for 20 years. So before going to the GMCMI event in Branson last Summer. As a PM thing. I installed a new mechanical pump. On our next GMCMI event in Ohio. That 3 month old pump started to fail about 75 miles from home. It did get us back home if I keep the speed under 60. Put in a new electrical pump from China. That pump got us to with in 2 miles of that GMCMI event in Shawnee Ok. Ken Henderson, and Alex Ferrara. Came to my rescue. Put in another electric pump. But this time it's a vane type pump. So it appears that I need to stop going to GMCMI event to stop having pump problems. ( GRIN ) So for now. I'll use this latest pump till I get my EFI in that I never seem to get installed. EFI or not. I've become a BIG fan of the one pump per tank idea. In tank, or out. And this will get rid of the tank switch over valve also. I've had 2 of those fail. Bob Dunahugh.
