I add my condolences to those of many others on this forum to Mary and family. Sharon and I had many good times with Mary and Matt over many years. As fellow professional engineers, Matt and I could talk at length on a broad array of technical subjects. We wil miss him much.

Matt will certainly be missed. Matt was my first contact into the GMC Community!

SEMNO - Matt coordinated a casual group of GMC friends known as the "South East Michigan & North Ohio" lunch group. We want to continue the work Matt started with his arrangement of those lunches. We are rebuilding Matt's email contact list with the help of Mary Colie and other sources. Lunches are planned on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Our next meeting is Jan 11, 2025, we are meeting at the same location and time as last month. Location is Leon's Family Dining, 8787 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI. We will gather at 11:00am.

I attended the service for Matt. Mary and his daugher, Daisy gave very nice heart felt eulogies. There were about 20 GMCers in attendence. Friends, neighbors and his fellow watermen were also well represented.
