I followed Hal StClair's diesel conversion with great interest not because of the Diesel part of it but because I was in AWE of his fabrication
skills. I'll admit to being a pretty good fabricator myself but Hal makes me look like a hack.

At the Shawnee rally, Carolyn and I visited his Royale (awesome) and Hal showed me a magazine article on his bus conversion. I was impressed with his
skills before but on his bus conversion, Hal took a metric bus that was narrower than the 102" allowed in the US. In order to maximize room, he SPLIT
THE COACH DOWN THE MIDDLE AND WIDENED IT! Now think about that a while. Think about all the 'things' that have to be changed, all the cross members,
steering, floor, roof, motor mounts, sheet metal, and on and on and on.

Amazing craftsmanship. Amazing craftsman.

I looked at that too. Completely amazing fabrication skills. My hat is off to Hal.

Now guys, I'm humbled by your praise but there are many, many here that could and have done extraordinary things. I'm humbled to be associated with a
group of achievers drawn together by their common interest in GMC's. Some just have a little more 'stick-to-it-ness' than others. I've always known
that He has guided my hands and deserves all the credit.
