Master Cylinder & Air Compressor Replacement Pics

Replaced Master Cylinder with 1972 Chevy C/30 rebuilt from Auto Zone--$17.
Looks exactly like the one I removed--I think the PO may have changed to
C/30 already. I had to grind the bracket a slight amount to clear the
casting above the plunger. Didn't mess with the pushrod. Works great.

Steve - that one look very similar to the original GMC stock master cylinder.

If anyone needs a higher capacity one and is going to be putting on
rear disk brakes they might want to go with the Chevy P30 master
cylinder. Chevy used three different ones on P30s. The largest
capacity that will fit on the GMC is one for the P30 with 15" rear
drums with 4" wide brake shoes. It can be seen on my photopoint site
