The hardest thing about installing a mas pump is having an idea of what
to do, and
then deciding to do it. Or paying someone else to do it. But this is
one that the
average person can do and gain a great deal of satisfaction (and save
some money to
pay for the things you can't do.
Wayne,
I agree. I think it took all of 3-4 hours to install mine. That
included the time it took to bend up and drill a mounting bracket.
Pretty anticlimactic, it was going so fast I kinda wished it would've
taken longer. I hate to start patting myself on the back & popping a
tall cool one so early in the day.

On second thought, rounding up the various parts and making a bracket to
hold the ends of the hoses and electrical key operated switch took more
time than installing. At that time, all I had was seeing (and taking a
picture) of Maxwell's hose ends. I had to go and find the I inch hose
ends. I was looking for quick-disconnects. Available in 3/4 inch
everywhere. but not in 1 inch unless you wanted to spend way too much. I
added a water in to clean the tanks (Camping World). My conclusion: You
don't need 1 Inch hose going out all of the way - 3/4 is plenty, from the
bumper to the hole in the ground. My of/on key switch is from a Corvette
alarm (in the fender). Access to this net would have made the installation
much easier, but at that time, I couldn't even log on, much less know that
all of this help was available.
