Edgar - I have determined that GMC also used the exact same lenses on
the GMC school buses of that same era. I once found a web site that
listed the lenses for sale. Perhaps I can still find the site. I'll
take a look and post the results to the net.

Edgar - found the site. Go to http://www.trucklite.com/lens42.html

You'll see a picture of one that is exactly like the original GMC
lenses. I haven't contacted the company but I'm sure one of us could
organize a group buy. I could use some myself. They probably also
have the gaskets that we would need as well.

Emory,
I'm going to replace all of my marker lights, base and all, this year. I also am going to replace the clear side light. Mine are all in good shape, but the rubber seals are getting old, and I want to get this coach into shape for the next 25 years.
Anyone co-ordinating a group buy, count me in. If no one is then I'll do it. But I'm still in VA so I can't consider it for a few days.
Excellent discription of the AC system, after he descibed his problem, I just scrolled down to see your answer, I knew it would be there.
So far our coach has exceeded our expectations. It has performed wonderfully but for the bad Shell gas, and the Onan backfire in Canada. I lost the front cover off the Onan's muffler. A perfect 23 year old muffler on my 6kw Onan now has to be replaced. The trouble is that switch, I thought the Onan had stopped, and when I released the switch to pop back to "run", it ignited the unburnt fuel in the muffler. This is a commen switch, and I'm going to change it's guts so it only springs back from start. It's too easy to pop your muffler with this setup.
I'm still looking for Urethane Suspension Joints.
