Me, personally, I would be reluctant to locate another converter there. The
converters most of us use are not water resistant. Driving into really hard
rain forces a lot of moisture into the area. Also, watch for leaks from the
top of the opening.

I agree with you Bryon, that area has alot of moisture for the Statpower
40 or 40+. The Circuit board is exposed and you could cause it to fail.
