Rick is right,for under 200 bucks I picked up an avearage of 34 feet
reduction in stopping diistance from 50 mph with the 80mm calipers and
regular carbon met.pads.
I personally thought it was signifcant.Look on Genes site under Brakes for

Jim,

I'd say a 34 foot reduction in stopping distance is
outstanding. You got me convinced.

I've looked at Gene's site and pick Paul Bartz' brain (and
other resources that I can find) for all the little pieces that
go into both the 80mm upgrade and the rear disc
modification. I've just about got it all together. The
Powermaster/Hydroboost thing intrigues me, although
maybe the vacuum booster modification that Bob Lamey
does would be the best thing to do. He's just a few miles
from me, and I'll have to get with him about it.

Once I get all the pieces and possibilities sorted out, I've
got to figure out which combinations can actually work
together.
