making wiring diagrams?

Anyone have any advise on how to make wiring diagrams that don't look like 3 year old did it?

Trying to make one for my leveling system

I'm not liking what Ive been doing.

I have used express PCB's free schematic drawing tool and it works pretty good, you will have to design your own symbols, I havn't found a library of
automotive symbols. I also downloaded Tiny Cad but haven't tried it yet, it is fairly highly rated. Both are free programs.

I did see smart draw, but thought I'd see if anyone had experience.

I'll look into pcb express too!

I've used AutoTrax Dex for making wiring diagrams even though its a schematic PCB program. Its easy using the component designer to make whatever
symbols you like and 3d packages. Its only $49 for the full version.

I still use Eagle for my PCB's... cause I'm usually up against a deadline and I know it better.

Why are you making sharp and precise wiring diagrams? No one on this site
has ever seen one. They won't know how to interpret them if it is not some
impromptu sketch scribbled on the back of a harbour freight cash register
receipt.(Grin)
