Any estimate on the cost of a really good set of wires?? Any to stay away
from??

If you are going to Myrtle Beach, Dick Paterson just told me he plans to
bring some new really good wires. He didn't quote a price. I asked him
about availability at MYR of his distributor, which he plans to also bring.

Somewhere I have a method of checking for chain stretch. If no one else has
it I will look it up.

FYO if you have changed to solid core wires the U.S. Gov. can take you off
the road. Something about interfering with their radios in a time of
emergency . Its your freedom they are eroding.

If it hasn't been replaced yet or you are uncertain, I would be inclided
to replace the timing chain and anything else in that area, e.g., water
pump, fan clutch, etc.

That's what I would do, Don.
